Can We Make Welfare Reform Work?
The California Religious Community Capacity Study is the culmination of two years of research spearheaded
by the California Council of Churches in partnership with the University
of Southern California Center for Religion and Civic Culture and
the University of San Francisco Institute for Nonprofit Organization
Management.
The study is the largest statewide study of
its kind and will have a significant impact on the national welfare
reform reauthorization debate that begins early in 2001 in Washington.
